About Me

Since as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by the scale and impact of technologies, whether physical or digital. From a young age, I spent my time researching, ideating and tinkering with various projects – one of my fondest memories after being when I built my first computer and got my first touch-screen phone. I was amazed by how I could use the various sensors, chips and applications at my disposal to solve real-world problems.

My first exposure to the wonderful world of ‘digital ergonomics’ started at College and blossomed when I went to University (studying Gameplay Design & Production.) Whilst studying this course, I quickly fell in love with ‘UX/UI Principles in Game Design’ – being able to provide creative solutions for one of my favourite mediums seemed like a natural fit, and the rest is history!

(Note: Higher level details of my education and industry experience can be found in my CV.)

I’m a UX/UI Designer, Animator and all-round technology enthusiast with over 5 years in industry specialising in crafting and delivering bespoke, intuitive & user-centric designs. I’m able to address and solve problems rapidly, creatively and effectively, assisting clients and teams in delivering human-centric solutions from discovery to delivery.

I’ve got proven design & BD experience across many sectors including FinTech, Social Platforms, Healthcare and more in a variety of B2B and B2C scenarios including FTSE 100 companies.

I started my career as an intern at Elemental Concept, a fantastic software consultancy that embraced the idea of thinking differently to overcome problems that their clients and team faced. I was surrounded by these fantastic minds that embraced me with open arms and inspired me every day. During my internship, I volunteered my services to help build communities as a community moderator and live-streamer on a crypto-based streaming platform.

Since joining Elemental Concept, I’ve been able to flourish and grow within the design field. I’m proud of my time here, having been part of many unique and interesting business opportunities spanning across many different sectors. I’m constantly inspired by tools and industry trends, and have no intention to stop any time soon!

Since growing up with my first console, an Atari 2600, I found the interactive medium of video games to be a unique and exhilarating experience. I’m proud to say that this fascination with video games is still going strong! My favourite titles of all time are TimeSplitters, Halo and Jak & Daxter.

In my spare time, I love to tinker with building electronics. I’ve built and maintained over 50 PCs and have repaired countless electronic devices over the years. I’m currently building DIY multi-sensors using Raspberry Pis, ESP32s and am using them to augment my ever increasing smart home.

When I can, I love to get outside and indulge in Shinrin-Yoku. Being able to lose yourself in the embrace of nature, following your heart and allowing yourself to appreciate your surroundings has always been a core staple for me.
